I never worked with that board but all boards I have seen, even at that level, has something to disable the onboard audio You mentioned a card reader with headphone jacks, how is that connected to your board’s audio, or other audio source? I’m not sure if I’m misunderstanding or if you’re implying that the computer was turned on when I cleaned it, it was completely disconnected.
